Dealer Notes
Edmunds wrote It took time, but Cadillacs first three-row crossover is here. The 2020 Cadillac XT6 signals the Detroit luxury automakers intention to compete at every level of the luxury SUV terra. But wait, you say. Doesnt the Escalade offer three rows? It does, yes, but the Escalade could not be more different from the all-new XT6.
The full-size Escalade remains a truck-based SUV powered by a thirsty V8. The XT6 is smaller and lighter thanks to its sedan-like chassis, and it is far more maneuverable than the Escalade's land-yacht proportions.
The XT6 is about the same size as the Audi Q7, one of its primary competitors, yet it offers a roomier third-row seat. It is also easy to reach that third row with second-row seats that slide and tilt forward. The Q7 is one of our top-rated luxury three-row crossovers, but on this score, the XT6 beats it handily. To get that room, Cadillac took it out of the XT6s luggage space, but folding both rear rows opens up a properly large 78.7 cubic feet of space, ideal for times when you'll need to load it to the roof.
The XT6 comes with all the active safety features you expect on a modern vehicle, with even more that are optional. There's an 8-inch touchscreen display, two USB jacks for each row of seats, and an array of options that include a Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless device charging.

Outstanding vehicle
By Kmac | on Monday, January 11, 2021
By far the best vehicle purchase I have ever made. Most of my car purchases were brand new and keep them at least 10 years. I was a bit concerned buying a first year edition, but Cadillac got it right on the XT6. Highly recommend.… - 5.0
This is the BEST car EVER!
By CraiggyBoy14 | on Wednesday, July 01, 2020
I have owned this Cadillac XT6 for 1 year and let me tell you this car is worth EVERY Penny. I have 2 teens who are 14 and 15 and they are 5'6 and 5'8 and they both fit in the 2nd and 3rd row. My wife drives a Audi Q7 and the seats are very narrow. Me and my wife are rather wide people and we have a hard time fitting comfortably in quite a bit of cars. The XT6 looks narrow on the outside on the dealer lot and that almost made us not want the car. But after we sat in it We knew this was the car for us. The seats are almost as good as Lincoln's Perfect Position seats. (Though we would prefer the Lincoln's seats.) The XT6 is is a VERY great car if you love traveling. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, our family would take road trips all over the country. The XT6 is roomy and comfortable and I have the platinum package which adds the Bose Performance 14 speaker sound system which is A treat to listen to. The infotainment system is great and easy to use. Now time for the cons. 1. The screen are small. The XT6 infotainment system is only 8 inches which is not very good. 2. There is no fully digital instrument cluster only a 7 inch Lcd display. 3. The XT6 can only tow 4,000 lbs. which is OK. 4. This car is pricey if you buy it new, I purchased mine for $73,500. If you want this car I recomend you get it used or for a low price. If you can afford this car I say GO FOR IT and buy it. This car is better than the Acura MDX, Infiniti QX60, Lexus RXL, Lincoln Aviator (The Aviator is almost as good.) I wanted the Volvo XC90 but after looking at the reviews I changed my mind due to reliability issues. I used to own a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 and Honestly this XT6 feels like a MAJOR upgrade. I feel like the XT6 is honestly the best 3 row Suv EVER. (I am still shocked by how big all 3 rows are!) I wish I could afford to buy my wife an XT6 instead of her 2018 Audi Q7 Prestiege.… - 5.0
My vehicle of choice
By Metzaluna2 | on Thursday, June 02, 2022
I am in my 70s and have loved cars my entire adult life. I own 4 now, an Audi A5, a Mercedes converible, a Genesis and my XT6. Love them all. None have more than 50k on the odometer. If I didn't love them I am lucky enough that I could go buy what I like. The XT6 is the first car I choose when I want to go for a long drive, or a short hop to the store. I take several 2,000 mile trips each year, and in this vehicle. Comfort and performace that was unknown in a vehicle in this price range a decade ago. Certainly for an additional $10-15K you could get better, but not that much better! Just one note: I installed Michelin CrossClimate tires at 19k miles and there was a significant reduction of road noise and a vast improvement of ride comfort.…
